My interest in Photography started during my college days while I was studying Commercial Art and Graphic Design. Photography was part of the curriculum and I loved every minute of it. My new found photographic skills quickly became an extension of my Design and Illustration tools.

Over the course of 10 summers, I worked on the Ottawa River as a commercial Raft guide. The fantastic scenery, and the excitement of the Ottawa River, provided me with the opportunity to combine both my love of photography with the thrill of whitewater. When I was not running rapids with a boatload of guests, I could be found honing my skills at capturing the action of countless paddler's. My photography has allowed me to meet and interact with many of the world's best paddler's, while at the same time leading me to paddle many new and exciting rivers. I think my whitewater experience makes it easier to work with these incredibly talented athletes.

The combination of both my loves is now a very big part of my life and who I am. I am able to record my own adventures, and events I see, with incredible detail with my cameras and film. My graphic design background has helped me create strong and powerful imagery with photography.

Photography is my passion, my Nikon is always with me and ready to go at a moment's notice. I am always looking for new and different ways to capture paddle sport action. I constantly am learning something new about photography, and the whole realm of Digital photography is something that is very exciting.
