This weekend saw us We traveling to Charleston Lake Provincial Park for a couple days of camping with family and friends. The weather was fantastic for the end of September and the lake was still warm enough to go in for a swim. The lake water is extremely clear, one upside of the Zebra mussel invasion, which makes the trip across the waters very special. Standing on the paddle board gives you a fantastic view of all the fish and vegetation on the lake. The granite and sandstone islands make for interesting scenery as you paddle around, lots of coves and small bays to explore. We will be back again.
