Evening kite boarding , Britannia Beach, Ottawa

It had been a while since some free time and winds coincided to enable me to head over the Britannia beach to capture some new images of kite boarding. The winds were still fairly decent when I arrived at 5:30 pm, a few kiters that I know were leaving having been out on the river for a while. They unfortunately informed me that the winds would probably be done in the next 30 minutes, I decided to make the best of it and tried to capture as many images as I could. Luckily the wind gods were on my side and they kept blowing for a lot longer than 30 minutes! Also the light conditions were fantastic and it was not long before the warm late day sun gave everything just a touch of golden magic. All in it was great to hang out and shoot as well as socialize a bit with the kite gang.

I was using the Nikon Z6II paired up with Nikon Z 24-120mm f/4, Nikon AFS 200-500mm f/5.6, nikon AFS 16-35mm f/4 and Nikon AFP 70-300mm f/4.5/5.5. Here is my selection from the session.
