Landlocked surfing – Sewer Wave, Ottawa river

Dropped by Parc Mousette to photograph some surfers enjoying the Sewer Wave on the Quebec side of the Ottawa river. A couple of the surfers even paddled out to the middle of the river to grab a surf on a large wave with a big foam pile on it. The water is pretty cold on the river with the ice only recently melting but thick neoprene wet-suits, booties and gloves seem to keep the bodies warm and toasty.
