Our bird feeders are up and well stocked, it did not take long for our feathered guests to begin showing up for regular meals. I was particularity happy to see this male Cardinal show up in his brilliant red plumage, such a beautiful bird. He and his mate are quite skittish but I was able to grab some imaged from inside the house well he was having a snack.
