A quick visit to the Wright Brothers first flight monument at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. It was National Park day so entrance fees were waved which us to enjoy a free day of exploration.

The winds were howling at Britannia this afternoon, wind, hail, and waves on the river. A few hardy souls headed out to enjoy some high speed fun on the river with wind buffeted nylon kites.
