Wind addicted souls on the Ottawa river

It was time to shoot some new kiting images so I wandered out to the river at Britannia to see how many kite boarders were enjoying the fresh snow and winds last Saturday. I was not disappointed, loads of familiar faces zooming around the finally frozen surface with a decent amount of wind to propel them. Skis or snowboards attached to the feet and colourful kites and foils in the air, so happy to be out shooting again. Stanley, Darryl and Mike were willing to take long runs at the snow covered stone breakwater in an effort to catch some dynamic air. Many frames burned through the Nikon in a very short while.

All images with Nikon Z6II and Nikon Z 24-120mm f/4, Nikon AFS 16-35mm f/4 and Nikon AF P 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6
